Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is an integrated system of smart meters, communications networks, and data management systems that enable two-way communication between smart meters and master data management (MDM) center.

WESCOSA AMI system is designed and manufactured to meet various end clients' requirements and standards, for instance, 40-TMSS-03, 31-TMSS-01, and 01-TMSS-01 of National Grid / Saudi Electricity Company.

The professional capabilities/expertise required for the design & manufacturing of Power System Automation (PSA) panels are derived from our decades owned rigorous engineering Know-how, extensive manufacturing experiences, quality workmanship, and the latest technological developments which are being utilized in integrated fashion during the process of design, fabrication, painting, assembling and wiring of these panels. These well-established practices thus ensure that the finished product fully conforms to the customer’s specifications and standards.

In this regard, high standards are maintained in the selection of various major components to be incorporated into the Panels along with other related instruments and devices meant for ancillary functions so that compatibility is always ensured amongst all the components in the Panels. All these components are subjected, continually, to a process of technical evaluation regarding their performance. Some of the prime aspects of focus are their Reliability, Security, Speed of operation, Climatic Compatibility, and appropriateness for the specific application. These practices ultimately yield a high level of performance of the whole equipment, thereby exceeding the maximum field requirements and code of practice.

WESCOSA automation panels and consoles are manufactured as per national and international standards, for instance, 16-SAMSS-514, 34-SAMSS-820 of Saudi Aramco and 31-TMSS-01, 01-TMSS-01 of National Grid (SEC), and others. The Panel design is optimized with the help of CAD tools, like AutoCAD, Microstation, ELECDES, etc.
